Requirements
In order to purchase a co-op, you must apply for membership. To be approved, there is an income requirement of:
- $22K per year, plus $1K per dependent
- $15K for seniors, plus $1K per dependent
- The Credit Report must show 75% with an R-1 rating
- There is a background check for all occupants 18 years or older
- Bankruptcies must be 2 years old, and all credit must show an R-1 rating
- There is a $30 fee for each credit check
- The process takes 7-10 business days
- If you need financing for the purchase of a unit, you can take out a loan for up to 75% of the purchase price. We work with three local banks
